Q:  How does a subscription box work?

A:  You choose the number of months you want to receive the box (1, 3 or 6) and pick the best subscription option for you. The Prepay option offers the best discounts, and you are charged just once. Then, each month you'll receive your box.  You receive a lower price if you choose multiple months and your subscription will renew at the end of the term. 

At the end of your term, your order will automatically renew (that's what makes it a subscription!) but you can modify your order by accessing your account through the website.

Please note that prepaid orders are not refundable -- ie, if you cancel your order, it will apply at the end of the order term.


Q: What comes in an AuburnBox?

A: Each monthly box has a specific theme and the items selected represent that concept. Then, we pick our favorite officially licensed items, plus we create unique items you can't find anywhere else! Each box has 4-5 items that all celebrate the spirit, tradition and culture of Auburn! 


Q: Is an AuburnBox good for kids?

A: Sometimes (but rarely) we feature items that a kid might not be interested in -- like alcohol-related things.  If you are ordering AuburnBox and want to make sure it is age appropriate, please email us at and we can arrange for replacement items.

Q: How can I give AuburnBox as a gift?

A: To send AuburnBox as a gift, just select "Gift As A Gift" from the top navigation on the website and you can choose which frequency you'd like to give. Gift orders do not automatically renew, so you can order just once and not worry about having to cancel.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to place a separate order for a gift if you are also choosing an AuburnBox for yourself. You can only enter 1 shipping address per order, so that's why you will need to place a separate order.


Q: How do I cancel/update my AuburnBox subscription?

A: You can access your account from the website and modify your order anytime. **PLEASE NOTE** If you change your shipping address on your order, please contact us at so we can verify that the change was updated on your order.


Q: When do boxes ship?

A: Boxes ship in one batch in the beginning of each month, and you will receive an email once it ships with the tracking information so you can follow its journey. 


Q: I ordered one subscription, but see 3 or 6 e-mail confirmations. Why is that?

A: If you ordered a 3 or 6 month subscription, our shipping platform treats them as 3 or 6 different orders to process them for shipment. Those are just the corresponding order numbers for those multiple shipments -- but you are only charged once.
